Welcome to Garforth Methodist Church, an historic building, used not only for worship but for different groups and activities for all ages and to suit many needs. We are aware of the Safeguarding Policy and ensure we operate a safe and secure environment in which to enjoy activities.

After fundraising for several years to improve the premises, so that our facilities are pleasant, accesible and available to everyone, we now have a new development which joins the two original buildings and has an entrance which opens the Church to the community. This we call 'The Link'. We appreciate and value the work and support of all involved during this process.

Everyone is warmly welcome to all or any of our services, groups or events.

Worship

worship logoSunday 10.30 am Morning Worship

The children join the service before going off to enjoy games, singing, crafts, Bible study and stories, drama and more. All Age Family services take place on the third Sunday of each month and the Service of Holy Communion is used on the last Sunday of each month. We aim to make worship relevant to both our own members and the community.

For forthcoming services see the circuit plan on the Circuit pulldown menu above

Midweek Communion: on the second Wednesday of the month at 10.00 am

Mission Statement

We are a Christian Church active in and open to our local community, working alongside other churches in our town and the wider Methodist Church.

Our aim is to seek God through Jesus and His Holy Spirit and learn together how to be God's people.

We are working towards a compassionate and forgiving society to bring about a reconciled, just and peaceful world.

Our individual and collective mission is fashioned by a church life which provides opportunities for growth.
