Scholes Methodist Church

Scholes is more of a traditional church. Unfortunately, we no longer have any children in the congregation.

As with other churches, we are kept informed by Revd. Janet Titterton by letter each week, this includes worship resources and information as to when services are to be transmitted on the TV.

Scholes is fairly well known for hosting charity coffee mornings on the first Saturday of each month.

Mission Statement

• We are a friendly village church, working together with other Christians in our witness and our outreach to the community.
• By God's grace we follow the living Christ and try to uphold Christian teaching in a changing world.
• Our purpose is to praise and thank God, growing in faith, seeking unity, caring for each other, the local community and the wider world.
• Directed by the Holy Spirit, we go forward in faith, proclaiming the gospel in word and deed, encouraging everyone in Christian faith.
