Foodbank donations

People at Alwoodley Park Methodist Church have continued to donate food and money weekly to the Leeds North and West Foodbank. The Foodbank box was placed just inside the back door of church so people with a key could just place their donation in the box without going right into church (probably not entirely keeping within the rules) or they dropped them on my doorstep. Money and cheques were also passed on this way. I would then collect the donations and take them to the Moortown Foodbank centre on Cranmer Bank.

During this lockdown period the members of Alwoodley Park Methodist Church have been very generous with their donations.

I am also a key volunteer, originally the Volunteer Co-ordinator and Safeguarding officer, but now just the Safeguarding officer and trainer. Since lockdown I have been helping pack boxes that are now delivered to those in need.
