Barbara Belsham

I am a Circuit Steward, working with my colleagues to discuss and deliver circuit strategy, give pastoral care to ministers and deacons, encourage lay workers and support individual churches. I enjoy being part of the Circuit Leadership team, working together to plan the way forward for the Circuit.

I have been a member at Lidgett Park for many years and am a Worship Leader there, something that is important to me. I try to take a full part in the life of the church, in worship and social activities. I am keen on churches working together ecumenically and I am involved with the Anglican Diocesan link with Sri Lanka.

I am the Methodist representative on the North Yorkshire SACRE ( Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education) and am interested in educational issues.

I enjoy walking and travelling, gardening, reading and especially spending time with my grandchildren.
