Janet Titterton

Hi, I'm Rev Janet, and I'm joining Leeds North and East to serve in ChristChurch, Colton, Crossgates, Garforth and Scholes.

I come from Tyneside originally, but haven't lived there since I went touniversity at the age of 19. I had a career as a librarian until I candidated forministry from Derbyshire in 2012. I trained at Wesley Study Centre in Durham,and I have served in West Durham, Preston and Peterborough.

Moving to Leeds will bring me closer to my two adult sons, James andJonathan, who both live in the area. Moving with me are husband Barry andthe manse dog, Wesley, a very friendly cocker spaniel.

As a minister I'm a bit of an all-rounder, happy to have a go at anything, butI'm particularly fond of preaching, teaching and hymns. I love a good sing!

When I'm not working I love football (following my beloved Newcastle Unitedthrough thick and thin), music, watching far too much rubbish on TV, anddrinking vast amounts of tea, preferably in nice tea rooms!
