Scholes Methodist Church

Scholes is more of a traditional church. Unfortunately, we no longer have any children in the congregation.

As with other churches, we are kept informed by Revd. Becki Stennett by letter each week, this includes worship resources and information as to when services are to be transmitted on the TV. During the present Covid 19 crisis several in the congregation are able to sew face masks, write cards or bake.

Scholes is fairly well known for hosting charity coffee mornings on the first Saturday of each month, but it unlikely that these will resume any time soon, especially as they are held in the schoolroom which is a very confined space and most of those who come to support us are no doubt considered to be in the 'vulnerable' category – it would be impossible to keep to the recommended 2 metres distance.
